Objectives
- To continuously implement and maintain a Quality Management System in the laboratory and ensure the awareness of laboratory staff to its standard.
- To utilize current, reliable and precise technology and systems relevant to laboratory medicine.
- To utilize reagents and supplies which are at par with national and international standards.
- To provide accurate, prompt and confidential laboratory results.
- To participate in external quality assurance programs and competency training programs.
- To provide quality education and training in the fundamentals and advances of laboratory medicine to all laboratory staff and hospital peers.
- To provide a conducive and safe working environment for the laboratory staff with with provisions for emergency situations.
- To ensure that all equipment utilized in laboratory testing are properly monitored, calibrated and maintained.
